Aqua Marina

Happy Sunday! This is Jeanette and today I wanted to share my latest Sugar Nellie creation with you.

I used a digital image from the Under The Sea collection. This is called Aqua Marina. If you prefer to use rubber stamps, this image is also available in rubber form –>HERE. Since I used the digital form of this image, I was able to resize it so that it was large enough to create a page for my art journal.

After coloring the image with Copic Markers, I masked it and then sponged on the background to create this underwater scene. I tried out a different combination of inks rather than using only blues and aquas as I did for my last mermaid creation:)  I added some clear sequins for a little interest to finish off this page.  Here is a closer look at the sweet mermaid:

Hello

Hi everyone,
Another weekend has started and
Saturday is my turn to give you inspiration.
Every week it is so much fun choosing
which image I want to use, since there
are so many lovely images in the Funkykits store.
For today, I coloured this sweet image
called story teller:

You can find this image here:

The image is coloured with copics.
It was so much fun.
I kept the card simple due to the papers and this lovely image.
This is the card I made for this week:

Thank you for visiting this blog today.
Untill next week,
Happy Crafting and hugs,
Marion

Oriental Ladies - Sugar Nellie

Marilyn here with your 'Happy Friday Post'!
Today's card uses Funky Kit's Oriental Ladies 1 digi image and I just love these sweet ladies.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop back in often because every day one of the gals on the DT features a  new project.  Also, don't forget to enter the Anything Goes challenge at the Sugar Bowl (remember to use a Funky Kits image) and there's always always plenty of inspiration and chatting on the Sugar Nellie Facebook Fan Page.

Autumn Girl

Good morning sugar fans!

It's Janine here with my Wednesday post.

For my card this week I've used an All Dressed Up digital stamp called 'Autumn Girl' available from Funkykits. Isn't she preeeettttyy. Now I know her name suggests autumn time, but you could actually use her the whole year through depending on the colours you use :)

I used a 6" x 6" scallop card blank and matted it with some bright blue card. The girl was then printed directly onto my colouring cardstock and coloured with Copic. I die cut 2 frames which were layered up and placed over the completed image.  Flowers and leaves were die cut from the same card and glittered  up and added to the frame.

To finish off I added gems and a few sequins.
For full details of everything I've used  and did, please check out my blog here.

Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see more fabulous inspiration from our fab Design Team and why not join our facebook group.

Hugs

Ocean’s Gift

Happy Sunday! This is Jeanette and today I wanted to share my latest Sugar Nellie creation with you.

I used a digital image from the Under The Sea collection. This is called Ocean’s Gift. I like working with digital images because I can resize them to fit the type of project that I am creating. In this case, I enlarged the image so that I had a 6x8” page to work on.

After coloring the image with Copic Markers, I masked it and then sponged on the background to create this underwater scene. I added some clear sequins, some stickles to the rock that she is holding and I was done! Here is a closer look at the sweet mermaid and her friend:
