Lucky dip

Can you remember Lucky Dip sweeties? A packet of fizzy serbert and a lolly to dip in.
We have 20 lucky dips to give away, a bit different to those in the sweetie shop variety but sweet all the same. If you would like to be in our lucky dip draw please just leave a comment . Good luck :)

  20. omgosh!! i sooo remember them... i used to love 'em, the lolly had a slight cherry taste!! oh and remember "dib dabs" two dif flavour sherberts and sherberty stick to dip with...slurp.

  23. were these anything like tootsie rolls here in the US? chewy on the inside but hard candy on the outside. I used to dip mine in my morning tea with gramma Nan.

  27. Oh, yes, I remember sherbert dips. The sherbert used to go up my nose! And the liquorice stick was terribly bitter so got left at the end. Great memories!

  31. I have only just recently got into stamping and absolutly love Sugar Nellie Stamps and its thanks to my four yr old son who saw them on QVC and kept knagging he wanted some. so here i am building my collection.

  66. OH!!! We had some similar candy, only over here in Canada I think it was called Lik-m-aid!! They were one of my favourite treats....but I'd LOVE some of your treats better, I think!!! *wink*

  68. I'd love to play in your lucky dip draw. I just happen to have one in the cupboard in case a little one visits... they used to be called Lik-M-Aid, Fun dip, now they come with 2 sticks and 3 flavours, who knew? Originally I think this came from those of us many years ago, who used to sneak out a sweet box of jello to public school without moms knowledge, a real treat, and we'd all dip our fingers in til it was gone, leaving our mouths, tongues & fingers dyed for classes!! I guess I am showing my age with this fun fact. Great memories of dippin fingers in the school yard lol.
