for me to make a decision all by myself.
Which one would you like to see made into a stamp and what would you name her?

Wow! I can see why you're having difficulty in choosing. I've looked at them for ages and number 3 gets my vote and I would call her Allie with attitude. I can just imagine her saying "whateva".

They are all wonderful and it is hard to chose. However, I think the middle one. (ask me later and you might get a different answer, LOL). As for a name? How about "Waiting" or "after the party". Waiting because she actually makes me think of how kids are when the details are done and it is 5 minutes before the party is to start and there is nothing to do, but wait for everyone to arrive- and of course they are all LATE when you are nothing but excited and anxious!!!

Definitely the third! Am I right in assuming that's a pea she's holding? As in the Princess and the Pea? I'd call her "Not Likely" because I can imagine her thinking it. Such a vivid expression!

ReplyDeletethe top one I'd call Willow (because she has dark eyes and curly hair like my daughter and also because Willow's a hippy/flower child kinda name
The second one - sorry but the only thing that keeps popping in my head is fed-up franny lol, it also reminds me of the song "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to"
And the third one looks like a Sassy Cassie to me - no idea why.

I 'd like the 2nd, think she's called 'not a frilly dressgirl' or something like that, but I think she just looks so forlorn and I'd call her , now that is a hard one ...sad sophie she certainly doesn't look happy at all, not sure what kind of card she'd make, perhaps don't be sad you're another year older?.They are all fab though can't we just have them all pretty pretty please.

Haha, they are so fabulous! I can't decide on my favourite. But I have a teen daugher and I'm going through all those emotions that they rappresent. These would be a great succes in this household! The 2nd looks like she's saying You gotta be kiddin' me and I'd name her Sarah. If the last one didn't hold that pea with the allusion to the princess, I'd name her Sophie after my daughter because she looks exactly like that when I come to wake her the 4th and 5th time in the morning. I think I like her best :D

ReplyDeleteThe first one & call her "Perplexed Ambivalence". She sums up how I feel about the images. It was hard choosing 3 from the ETSY when you asked as I just didn't quite know how to respond - that's still it. BUT I know that I take time over things like this - Diane Duda & Leanne Ellis were in that category for me to begin with & I absolutely adore Leanne Ellis now. I think Krista's Art is very "current" but unusually daring at the same time & I'm a great believer in working with images that I do not necessarily like myself.

I really like all three; however, my favorite would be the last. To name the image I'd say "What Now?"; to give her a name I'd say "Olivia".

The bottom one stands out by a country mile for me. I like the top one too, but she looks like she has rugby players legs, but everything else about her is gorgeous. The middle one is too sad & those hearts on her cheeks remind me of a clown. (I've never been keen on clowns since that Steven King film!). But number 3 doesn't just win by process of elimination. She's fabulous! As for a name, what about Sasha?

ReplyDeleteI can't say enough about how much I love Krista's work. I was the LUCKY WINNER of her contest and she drew my idea called Cheribaby & Tonza...it came out great even though it's a little different than I had pictured it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway as for these three lovelies it's impossible to pick just one. I guess I like the top one best and rather than a girls name I would probably give it a title like "Where Did All The Flowers Go?" Then I would pick the last one and title it "Who Planted This?" or "Ooh LaLa" because you could color that as a cherry, an olive, blueberry, etc. and the middle one I would probably title "When's The Party?"
