Travel Lite

Here we are at Friday again and the last day for July and if you are like me, you are wondering where this month disappeared to.
Today's card uses Funky Kit's Travel Lite stamp image.   I've had this little cutie 'curing' in the stamp box for about a year now and decided to bring her out and add some colour.

Be sure to stop by the Sugar Nellie blog often because every day one of the gals on the DT features a  new project.  Also, don't forget to enter the Anything Goes challenge at the Sugar Bowl (remember to use a Funky Kits image) and there's always always plenty of inspiration and chatting on the Sugar Nellie Facebook Fan Page.

Full of Grace...

Hi Peeps...

Christine here... and it's a sad day for me as this is my last post for Sugar Nellie!!  I have decided to step down, as I think now is the right time for me to move on to other things... but as I've loved Sugar Nellie from the word go when I started card-making....... I am finding it difficult!!  Ah well......  I have a box of tissues here ready..

I decided to go out with a bang with one of the wonderful All Dressed Up images available from the store in digi form - so perfect to resize to exactly what you need!  This image is called 'FULL OF GRACE' and is available HERE.  Of course, I had to do my usual fussy cutting..... (I'm addicted!)..  but it does make a difference, doesn't it?

Ok... that's it - sniff!  Thanks for having me as part of the DT Karen, I have made such lovely friends through this team - but I'll still be in touch with them all through blogland... and you won't see the back of me... I'll still be following and waiting for more lovely fairies.....

Happy Crafting All..
Big hugs
Christine xxx

A Little Bit Of Gossip

- Good Morning Sugar Fans -
Janine here, and it's my turn to share my something sugary with you. Once again I thought I would revisit one of my older cards using
one of my all time favourite Sugar Nellie stamps.

For my shaped card I used this little cutie - it's called 'A Little Bit Of Gossip' and it's available
from Funkykits. Don't you think she just the prettiest thing ever!

I covered a shaped card with my patterned paper and added distressing ink around the edges. I printed the image directly onto some colouring card stock and coloured it in with my Copic pens, this was then die cut and matted onto complimentary coloured card. I added the topper onto the card base along with a die cut lacy border. To finish off I added my own handmade flowers, a few gems, and a sprinkling of glitter to her wings and a flower button.

For full details of everything I've used and did, please check out my blog here.

Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see more sweet inspiration from our fab Design Team and why not join our facebook group.

Hugs

This is a stamp from Scrapberry’s line and is named Princess Evie.

I can’t get enough of these sweet images. They are so, so cute and fun and easy to color!

The image was colored with copic markers. I went back in with my darker rose colors and added dots to the dress to give it an little extra depth. The background was created with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. A little bling was added to the two top corners and some stickles to the ground :)

Cat Food Travelcase

Hi everyone,
This Saturday I, Marion, have a
little box creation I want to share with you.
I used an image from Scrapberrys to get started.
It is called Basik and fish.

Basik and fishes

and this is how I coloured this stamp:

You can find the stamp here:

And here is the creation I made with this cute cat stamp:

I added some detailed photos as well to this post:

The treats I used to decorate did not stay unnoticed in my place.
So, I was lucky to shoot this pics and then
the treats were gone, eaten by one of my cats.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my wee little project.
Untill next week,
Happy Crafting and hugs,
Marion

Wellington Bear

Marilyn here today I chose to use Funky Kit's Wellington Bear stamp set.

This is a great stamp set which contains four images, the large sentiment, 11 small sentiments and a wee tag stamp so it's a great value.

Knitted with Love

- Good Morning Sugar Fans -
It's Janine and it's my turn to show you my Wednesday card.

I've been  way too hot over the past few weeks with the heat wave we've been having lately in the UK, so to cool off I decided to make a Christmas
card...well why not! LOL

So for my card this week I've used the gorgeous rubber stamp 'Knitted With Love' which is available from Funkykits.

I stamped the image onto some white card stock and die cut it into a circle, this was then matted and layered onto some red and teal card and attached to my scalloped card base. I stamped the image once more onto some colouring card stock and colour it with Copic pens, and then fussy cut it out. I attached the cut out image to the card base using foam tape to give dimension. To finish off I added a few glitter dots, a die cut snowflake and some glitter.

For full details of everything I've used  and did, please check out my blog here.

Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see more sweet inspiration from our fab Design Team and why not join our facebook group.
