Live Love Laugh

Hi Everyone :)

I'm Faye, and I am delighted to be posting on the Sugar Nellie Blog! One of the very first stamps I bought came from Funky Kits, so it's safe to say, I have been a fan for a long time. But, you don't want to hear that, you want to see more of that sweet little lady up there, don't you?!

This beautiful image is called Live Laugh Love, and boy, was she a dream to colour. As she's a Digi, I took the liberty of flipping her around, I tend to colour my light source from the top left, and although I will do it top right, I have a habit of forgetting half way through! ;)

Anyway, enough of my chatter. If you would like any information on the colours I have used, you can find them on my Blog. Otherwise, have a wonderful day.

A Basik Thank You!

Good Morning!
Today's card is using another of the new releases from the Basik & Ko range. I have made another C&S style card as I think they suit that style the best as all the attention is on the design. Of course I have added a few little embellies though for a finishing touch!
You can also find this post over on the SUGAR NELLIE BLOG.

Good Day everyone,
Times flies so quickly and another week has passed.
It is Saturday again and that means
I, Marion may give you some inspiration.

I just love those new Scrapberry stamps that are new in the store.
 They are all too cute.
The bunny I used on this card is from the collection Summer Joy and is called Paris.
The image is available as clearstamp and can be purchased here:

The text and the Eifel tower I used on this card are also on the
same stamp sheet.

I coloured the image with copics.

Well, this is it from me today.
Emjoy the rest of your week.
See you next week and thanks for stopping by.

Summer Joy Princess

Marilyn here with one of the new ScrapBerry stamps at Funky Kits
This cute little bunny is called Summer Joy Princess.  I had a few problems with the pink on the inner ear and
try to look at it as 'creating an opportunity' instead of 'adding too dark of ink' so there's a little gray in the mix as well.
Remember the challenge over on the Sugar Bowl, plenty of inspiration and chatting on the Facebook Fan Page and more inspiration here from another of my teamies tomorrow.

Basik 'For You'

Good morning everyone!

Janine here to share another card with you today. I thought I would use one of the fab new stamp sets from Scrapberry called 'For You' - the set is available from Funkykits here. There are more cute stamps in the range which are definitely worth checking out (these are also available from Funkykits).

To make my card, I created my own portrait card base from an A4 sheet of white card cut in half. I die cut a rectangular frame using 2 dies which I then mounted on top of some patterned paper. The cat was stamped and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils and cut out. My finished cat, die cut 'thought' bubble and hillside were added to the frame; this was then added to my card base using foam tape to add a little dimension. To finish, I added a few holographic sequins.
For more details of everything I used please check out my blog here.
Thanks for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see some sweet inspiration from
our fab Design Team.
