My Favorite

Hi everyone,
it is weekend woohooo.
On this first day of the weekend I, Marion,
may give you some inspiration.
As you probably know by now, I love cat stamps :).
The ones from Scrapberry are no exception.
I think they are all so cute and funny.
Today I used this image for a card:

The image is called Basik for you.
I coloured the image with copics.
Of course you can buy this cute one at Funkykits:

Basik for you

Guess what Basik is looking at on my card:

I will tease you now longer and show you my whole card:

Thank you so much for visiting this blog today.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and
untill next Saturday,
Happy crafting and hugs,
Marion

Princess

Morning to you all!  Marilyn here with another fab digi image from Funky Kits.
This sweet little gal is Princess and you can find her at Funky Kits.
http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/
I decided to go CAS and I love how this image lends itself to that style.  The cards was quite simple and quick because both the image and sentiment are digital, three little flags from some scrap paper, a button and done!
Don't forget to enter the challenge at the Sugar Bowl and there's always always plenty of inspiration and chatting on the Sugar Nellie Facebook Fan Page.
Thanks for stopping by!

Some Inspiration

Hey folks, Fi here but not with a card....my day and night has not gone according to plan so here's a wee bit inspiration from 3 entries over on The Sugar Bowl.

Now isn't it amazing how the one image can look so different?

This card has been made by Annie...

The next card has been made by Kari.

and finally this card made by Caroline.

The image all 3 ladies have used LIzzie which is available from the Funky Kits store.

Pop back tomorrow for some more inspiration and remember to enter our challenge over on  The Sugar Bowl.

Gorjuss Girl

Good morning everyone!

Janine here to share something gorjuss with you today.

I thought I would give a Gorjuss girl a little airing today - these girls are all so pretty and stamp beautifully.  Funkykits (the home of Sugar Nellie) - have a fab collection of Gorjuss Girl stamps to choose from, but many of them are no longer produced and once they are gone, they're gone.
So grab yours while you can!!

Here's What I Did
To make my card I used a 5" x 5" white card base which I matted with green cardstock and covered with patterned paper. I stamped my gorjuss girl onto watercolour card and coloured her in with Distressing Ink pens; when finished I cut both her and the little book out. I die cut a green frame which I added to my card base using foam tape. The girl, book and die cut 'happy' and hearts were placed both inside and outside of the frame. To finish off I added a few sequins and some white dots to her cheeks and book.
For more details of everything I used please check out my blog here.

Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see some sweet inspiration from
our fab Design Team.

Why not join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group) and show off your lovely creations - we'd love to see them.

Or why not enter our monthly challenge over at The Sugar Bowl - we always have great
