It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas....

Hello Everyone! Jane here today and I am starting to feel a bit Christmassy! After the fabulous new 'Sparkle and Shine' digi release at Funky Kits last week, I am full of Christmas inspiration and decided to have a play with one of my favourite Christmas stamps from last year. This adorable stamp is called Warm Winter Wishes and is available here in digi format from Funky Kits.

This stamp is so lovely to colour in as there is so much detail and the opportunity to use a great variety of different colours on the lovely scarf. I coloured my image with Promarkers and added glitter to the boy penguin's hat. I cut the image out leaving a small border and mounted it on to my card using foam pads. The papers are from last year, I am trying to use up some old pads before buying more new ones. I added a lovely sentiment which I glittered with glitter glue and lots of die cut snowflakes and finished with a little wooden button and some gems.
I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!

"Vintage" Jasmine...

Happy Monday, all you sugar-lovers! Did you have fun at Saturday's Blog Hop and "Sparkle & Shine" digi release? I know I did! They are just the sweetest little images...and I, for one, love digi images! It's that "instant gratification" thing, I have no doubt! So... Pat Frank here with another new Sugar Nellie DT "tag card" to show you! Today's project features an adorable little fairy stamp! Her name is "Jasmine"...

...and she's available right HERE at Funky Kits! I colored this sweetheart with my trusty Copic Sketch markers and a variety of colored pencils. Oh, oh, oh...I also colored those pearls with Copics! It's true...I didn't have any blue pearls to match the colors in the image, so I created my own! If you haven't tried coloring pearls and rhinestones with Copics, give it a try! It's almost like MAGIC!

If you'd like more info on this card...as well as a look at a couple of other photos...please pop on over to my blog HERE!!

And...that's it for me. I'm off to do some packing for my vacation (we're going to hang out at the beach...in St. Maarten!! Yayyyyy!)! Have a great week! And, I promise to have one of those little umbrella drinks for each of you...really...it's no problem at all!
Mwahhhhhhh!

Shabby Chic

Good Morning :)

It's time for a new challenge over on the Sugar Bowl with a sketch to follow - as always - and an optional theme of Shabby Chic.
The Sweeties have done what we all know the Sweeties do best, and made a fantastic array of cards to provide you with a little inspiration.

The sketch for this challenge was done by Fiona - thank you honey, I thoroughly enjoyed the sketch - and her fab card was made using the Simply Sassy image Pillow Talk.
This stamp is currently out of stock, but if you read Karens post on Sunday then you will have seen that the Simply Sassy images will soon be available to buy as digi's....instant Sugar-free gratification :)

Louise's gorgeous card uses the image Fragile Beauty.
This is an older but still very popular image..she is definitely a timeless beauty.

And Kiki's fabulous festive card uses the stamp Wish Upon A Star.

This stamp was released last year as part of the 'Jingle Bells and Tinkle Bells' range of images. I have to confess that these have been my favourite set of Christmas stamps ever - well, so far anyway!  They are so pretty and so versatile and I love them all. But Karen likes to spoils us and very soon we will have new Christmas images...

I am so lucky for I have already seen these soon-to-be-released digi images and they are all gorgeous!!
Our lovely and extremely talented  DT girlies have created THE most amazing cards to show you...I have drooled over all their fabulous cards and projects and I know you will do too...soon, very soon :)

Thanks for looking

So Berry Sweet Of You

Good morning sweet stamping friends.  Today I have a summery card to share with you.  I love strawberries and this year we've been so lucky to have lots and lots of this beautiful red berry - one of my favorite fruits!  So I thought I would use this adorable little ...

This little sweetie is from Sugar Nellie's Home Grown Manga collection and  she's available over at Funky Kits.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used a black glaze pen on the strawberries.  When I saw this paper I knew I wanted it for this card but then I ended up covering up most of the strawberries on the backing paper.  Well, hopefully you can tell it's strawberries ;)

Are you starting to get excited about making your holiday cards?  Then you are going to love what we have for you on September 8th . . .

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita
