The future..........

A big congratulations to Tiets, crafting at the castle was a great success, well done to all the girls involved and I look forward to seeing what all was made at this great event.

A box of beautiful cards arrived from Tiets today, thank you Sugar babe, they are wonderful :)
The future...........what does it hold?
Which direction will we take as we approach our first birthday at Sugar Nellie?
So many choices, so many ways to go..............................time will tell :)
and a good saying here in Scotland is
"what for you will not go by you"
in other words if it's meant to be it will.
Anyone want a little bit of candy to make the weekend sweeter?
Tell me what you think the next hot trend will be in stamping, we have seen robot and birds, whats next? What would you like to see?

I like candy :) I really love all the little girl stamps (like the Sweet Ebony's) but I'd like to see more teenage type stamps. Stamps with a little more edge to them. Also some more guy stamps - maybe with an IPod!

I think the next big "image" trend will be octopus, gnomes, pokemon-looking-monsters. (I'm just taking a wild guess).

I love Sugar Nellie stamps - they are my addiction!
I absolutely love your girl stamps but as a mum of two boys, (one little one and one a teenager) I'm always on the look out for boy stamps so how about something for those trendy teen boys - lets make it the next big thing - on the bmx bike, on the roller blades, using the mobile, wearing da bling, funky hairstyles, trendy clothes - my teenager is always moaning that there are never any stamps in my collection which reflect him - so a boy collection please!

I posted already but I did have another thought! Something I would love to see in the future (and it might already exist!) are stamps that feature scenes or characters from children's stories. Like Wizard of Oz, Anne of Green Gables or Alice in Wonderland...

I would love to see Floral as the next big trend.

Well, I am hardly able to keep up with trends let alone predict them! I am not sure in terms of design but I am sure that with everyone being careful with their pennies a lot of companies will have to move towards unmounted stamps - so much better value and easier to hide from the Hubby!!! Sugar nellie is ahead already :)

Wow that's a good question....

I'd love to see some cute cats (on all fours, don't really like them standing up on their hind legs), maybe some houses for backgrounds... I also love cute snowmen!

Some say cupcakes are the new birds but they don't really have the same appeal to me...

Gosh - I think the "robot" trend passed me by! My prediction for the next few months is bright colours. I definitely see a shift in that direction. I am feeling it myself actually - ban the bland! Lol Lynn x

Oh I love this card. I can almost feel the dreams of this stamp. A perfect card for the first of a school year. I would give it to someone entering a new phase of life or ending such as a grade 12 student. Great card.

I would really like to see the H&S stamps!!! I know they're coming, but I think, like most stampaholics, I'm terribly impatient.

Ooo... I would just love some candy, been baking for others today so a sweet treat for myself would be fabulous!! I think the future will be christmas characters/animals etc (immediate future) and vehicles and more stamps with more than 1 character on them.
Can't wait to see the next lot of stamps and am saving hard for the H&S's!!

well Hanglars are what everyone whats, but it's really hard to get good male and teenager stamps, more funky, nit just fishing and football, because not everyone likes this, I think the crafting world will start realising this and make more male stamps, JIll x

I love all the stamps in your collections but I find it really hard to find good trendy stamps for teenagers 'specially boys. My family has loads of guys all different ages. it's quite hard trying to get ideas for them all. So GUYS stamps please....
