Gonna Use It Up!

We're gonna use it up, gonna wear it out
Ain't nothing left in this whole world I care about...

Nothing like a bit of Odyssey in a morning to get you shaking your tail feathers and singing all day!

Today sees a new challenge over on the Sugar Bowl.  Sweetie Erika has supplied the fabulous sketch and the optional theme of 'Use Scraps'. I'm sure we all have a box with little bits of paper in, those scraps of paper we can't throw away but don't ever use. Now's the time to get them out and use 'em up.

Erika has created her fab card using the Mary Hall image Little Angel. The die cut stars and swirls are the perfect embellishments.

Sarah has used the Sassy image I Love To Read for her beautiful and very appropriate card, at the time when all the school children and students (and teachers) are starting a new academic year, the 'good luck' sentiment is perfect... for the teachers as much as the pupils!

Ali has made a gorgeous Christmas card with the image Furry Friends. I always love Ali's CAS style of card making, the black and white is so simple yet very striking.

You can find the sketch and all other details over on the Sugar Bowl blog along with all the cards from the other sweeties to give you a little inspiration. As always there is a prize for one random winner of 4 Sugar Nellie stamps of their choice, but if we get 100+ entries then the prize will rise to 6 stamps. The challenge stays open for a fortnight so there's plenty of time for everyone to join in.
*I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of lovely entries with the new Jingle Bells and Tinkle Bells range of stamps*

On the subject of new rubber....

Maria and her team of Sassy ladies will be having a blog hop over HERE on September 17th to showcase the next set of Sassy loveliness, I can't wait to see the new stamps!!

Thanks for looking, I'll be back on Sunday to showcase a Sugar Addict.
Love Elaine xx

What an extraordinary range of styles in your selection. I was quite amazed by the way Erika used that Mary Hall image & embellished with the layered stars. Quite as striking as Ali's CAS example. I'm certainly looking forward to the new Sassy release - intrigued by that ice cream soda already.
