Jasmine

Happy Sunday! Jeanette here to bring you a sweet Valentine card featuring a lovely older image.

I used Jasmine which is an older rubber stamp that I don’t see in the store any longer but I am sure many Sugar fans have her in their stash.

I colored the image up with Copic markers, masked it and then added 3 shades of Distress ink to create the background. Full details can be found over on my blog.

Runaway

- Hellooo Sugar Fans -
It's Janine, and I'm here to share my Wednesday post with you.

I'm so sorry my post is late today but unfortunately life got in the way of my crafting....how dare it :)

Anyhoo, for my Design Team card this week I used one of the gorgeous Gorjuss stamps called 'Runaway, it's available to buy from Funkykits.
There is also a lot of other fabulous Gorjuss stamps in store so definitely check them out.

As this stamp is quite large I used an A5 card base to create my card this week, I then used Copic pens to colour it.

To make my card the large image was stamped directly onto some colouring cardstock. The background was created first using a mixture of different colour Copic pens and blending solution; then the same pens were also used to colour the main image but more intensely. The completed image was then mounted onto some pink card, along with 3 die cut flourishes to create a frame.

The image and frame were added to the A5 card base which I 'd covered with pink patterned paper. To finish off I added a few sequins and some clear glitter to the horse for a touch of sparkle.

Sugar Nellie – Rosie

Happy Sunday! This is Jeanette and  I have a new card to share with you from Sugar Nellie. This is an image I bought ages ago because I just fell in love with it. I can’t see it on the website now but I am sure that many of you already have it and if not, there are many images by the same artist that ARE available.

This is Rosie and I thought she would make a cute Cupid for a Valentine Card.

The image was colored with Copic Markers and then the background was added with some Gamsol (OMS) and a couple of Prismacolore pencils. I then added the sentiment and then some pretty pink sequins. Love the CAS look.

Images by the same artitst and similar to this one can be found by clicking the link below:

A list of supplies used as well as the Copic Marker colors I used can be found on my blog as well as a few more pictures from different angles.
Thanks so much for swinging by Smile
