Sneaky peek#3

Good morning sugar fans...hope you are all well today!

Just incase you haven't seen the post from Monday or yesterday...this week sees the start of some changes on the Sugar Nellie Blog, so we are starting with some little sneaky peeks of what's to come from the challenge team on Thursday...so hopefully what you see will tempt you to come back and visit the challenge on Thursday and also enter our challenge. The prize for the next challenge will be 4 Sugar Nellie stamps of your choice...so you must agree that's a fabby prize and those new Gorjuss girls will be hitting the funky Kits store soon too!

So today we have this lovely peek at Stacey's card, ...Stacey is fairly new to the team but you will agree her cards are so pretty and girly...we all love girly...well most of us!

Don't you agree...fabby??

Pop back later for the winners of the last challenge and then tomorrow to find our next challenge which will move from the Sugar Bowl blog onto the main Sugar Nellie blog from now on!

We would love to hear from you with some feedback on what you think of our sneaky peeks this week,

Summer Joy Princess

Marilyn here with one of the new ScrapBerry stamps at Funky Kits
This cute little bunny is called Summer Joy Princess.  I had a few problems with the pink on the inner ear and
http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/index.php
try to look at it as 'creating an opportunity' instead of 'adding too dark of ink' so there's a little gray in the mix as well.
Remember the challenge over on the Sugar Bowl, plenty of inspiration and chatting on the Facebook Fan Page and more inspiration here from another of my teamies tomorrow.

Basik 'For You'

Good morning everyone!

Janine here to share another card with you today. I thought I would use one of the fab new stamp sets from Scrapberry called 'For You' - the set is available from Funkykits here. There are more cute stamps in the range which are definitely worth checking out (these are also available from Funkykits).

To make my card, I created my own portrait card base from an A4 sheet of white card cut in half. I die cut a rectangular frame using 2 dies which I then mounted on top of some patterned paper. The cat was stamped and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils and cut out. My finished cat, die cut 'thought' bubble and hillside were added to the frame; this was then added to my card base using foam tape to add a little dimension. To finish, I added a few holographic sequins.

For more details of everything I used please check out my blog here.

Thanks for dropping by, and don't forget to call by tomorrow to see some sweet inspiration from
our fab Design Team.

Why not join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group) and show off your lovely creations - we'd love to see them.

Or why not enter our monthly challenge over at The Sugar Bowl - we always have great prizes on offer.

Little Princess

Good Morning everyone,
Marion here today sharing a card with you.,
I am feeling very proud today, since this is my first post
as new DT member.

For my first card on this blog as DT member I used one of the
lovely Scrapberry's stamp called Little Princess.
This one is available as clear stamp and I love the small prze they have.
Little princess can be purchased here.

I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles
on the dress as extra sparkle.
The little dove is selfmade with selfdrying clay and a mould.
My cards are always handstitched and normally contain a cat somewhere.
This card is no exception.

Here are some close-ups of my card:

Since it is my last post before it is Christmas,
I want to wish you all Merry Christmas
and some cheerfull, warm days with family and/or friends.
