Sugar Nellie's Melissa . . .

Hey there, m'darlins!! Pat Frank here with a new Sugar Nellie DT project! I'll get to that in a moment . . .

First, though, I have to let you in on a little secret!! Sugar Nellie is fixin' to release a whole bunch of new images...rubber AND digi!! Wheet whoo! So...be on the lookout for Sneak Peeks and Blog Hops coming in the very, VERY near future!! (First Sneak Peek may just happen a week from today...just sayin'!)

And now...to my newest Sugar Nellie creation. Sadly, I've made another "Sympathy" card. This one is for a friend of mine whose brother recently passed away...

I've always loved this darling Sugar Nellie "Simply Adorable" digital image!! Her name is Melissa" and I think she's just perfect for a "Sympathy" card. You can find this digi image HERE at Funky Kits.

I colored this sweetheart with Copics and colored pencils (my usual)...and then added just a few embellishments! Here's another angle...

Memories...

Hello sweet friends and fellow "sugar" lovers!! It's me, Pat Frank! And I'm here with another Sugar Nellie DT project! This one is for a sad reason...it's a Sympathy card. I don't know about you, but I always have such a difficult time making sympathy cards! This card is for a friend of ours who lost his elderly mother last week.

Two of my least favorite kinds of cards to make..."Sympathy" and cards for guys!! But I have to admit, this sweet Sugar Nellie stamp named "Worried" by Kathy Hare seemed perfect for today's card. You can find this darling stamp HERE at Funky Kits.

I colored this little guy with Copics and colored pencils (my usual)...and then added a few embellishments! Yes, even flowers. I couldn't help it...they just seemed to work. Here's another sort of "artsy" pic...

Sympathy Card...

Happy Monday, Sugar lovers! Pat Frank here with another new Sugar Nellie card! This one is a "Sympathy" card for a friend whose father passed away a few weeks ago. I don't know about you, but I struggle with sympathy cards. Do you have a fave Sugar Nellie stamp that you've used for "sympathy" cards? Which ones have you used? I can use your help...you never know when I'll need to make another one!
