Fish on Fridays

Yes a bit old fashioned but fish on Friday is a tradition in some households. For us it was fish and chip by the sea watching for dolphins, but not tonight.

One little NELLIE is looking for new home some where in the world, if you were to win this NELLIE, what would you serve for dinner?

What do little girls like to eat best? I will give you a clue...............it's not fish!

STOP!........................aww this little darling is going to Germany to eat fairy cakes :)
Congratulations Shary.

Hmm what do little girls like......

Well as they are made from sugar and spice and all things nice I can only think of something nice and sweet to eat so how about a lovely big chocolate cream cake yum yum :o)

No I wouldn't give this little sweetheart fish. It would have to be a teddy bears picnic, with lovely little sandwiches and lemonade, some iced gems and butterfly buns

For a Sugar Nellie dinner it would have to be cake, cake, with a side order of cake and a bit more cake! Nice and sweet for a sugary little girl!

Oooh I think Nellie would like meatballs and spaggetti as she likes to slurp the spaggetti and it wouldn't matter if she got the juice on her as she has a nice big napkin to cover her pretty dress. To follow, a nice crispy apple to clean her teeth!

I would serve leek and potato homemade soup, breaded chicken pieces with smiley face potatoes and green beans (all homemade) and to finish yummy apple cake (from our trees) and icecream - that's my little girls favourite dinner.
