Colour me in........

I received some cards today from Karen { http://karenscards.blogspot.com/ } . Thank you Karen, they are lovely.
Karen came into the store last time with copics and pro markers, me I am still playing with my prisma pencils and blending stumps when I get time. I love the way these have turned out and wonder about other colour options.
I first came across pro markers in Marie's studio in Sweden, I have not yet given in and purchased these but I was thinking about what you use to colour your stamps. Share your tips with the sugar babes and we can all try something new.

Bev has used primsa colour pencils on her cards , I love her cards and loads of ribbons too http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/2008/08/sugar-nellie-sweet-n-sassy-does-four.html

We still have computer problems at the office so please be patient with us if you are sending emails.

i love to use a paintbrush so it is always watercolours for me but I have finally caved in and ordered some distress inks after Marlene's fab tutorial!

Well done Karen. Karens cards are amazing. I love the fresh style she uses. I'm so jealous that Karen can pop in to the shop too.

Lovely cards Karen! I am fairly new to the world of stamping so I am trying lots of things out. I haven't found I prefer any one over another. They are all great in their own way. I use Prismacolor pencils with OMS, Distress Inks, and Copic Markers. I often go over any of these coloring methods with Twinkling H20s. They give added depth to your shading and a subtle shimmer!

Hi Karen, so glad you liked them and thanks for the new range of flowers - I am back in bloom heaven.

See you soon to pay off my debt!

The colouring on these images is stunning! I'm a bit varied with my colouring - at the moment I am into my Promarkers but I do love Polychromos pencils and I love to use H2O's and Distress Inks or Aquacolour crayons. I usually have a bit of Sakura going on one way or another too! Lol Lynn x

Oh those cards are gorgeous and Bev's cards Oh how I love visiting her blog Just gorgeous work.
I color my images in with the copic markers. Marelene has been working with me on trying to color with the distressed inks some turn out okay but others go to the trash. I have done a few with the pencils but have so much better luck with the copics

I have used the Promarkers for the first time and after a couple of trial runs got the hang of them and love the effect they give. I also have the Prismacolours and the Derwent Inktense but I am not brilliant at colouring in and the Promarkers make me look better than I actually am, if you understand what I mean. You can see my card here

I've used everything-prisma ,Inktense, watercolour pencils, watercolour paints (both palette & tube)water soluble crayons, oil pastels -nothing tickled me as much as promarkers have done.I bought a bunch of them the other week and I have to say, they are the best by far! They are so easy to use and the results are amazing_I've always been a bit heavy handed with the coluring side of things but these are a dream to work with. You need promarkers!! lol

I love copics but its getting used to them like any medium I still use watercolouring and prismas but I found you do get a colour that bounces with the copics just need to buy some more lol
