Introducing....

Yesterday I introduced you to one of the GDT over on the Sassy blog, so its only right to tell you about Lou who is also doing a guest spot with Simply Sassy stamps. Having had a quick look at her blog its clear that Lou likes to work with kraft card which is a favourite of ours in the HOS. Her style is a little different to the normal which we think is great, we need more variety girls, don't be scared to try something out of the box that is how new trends are started. Give Lou a sweet sugar nellie welcome and one appreciated commenter on her Sassy post will receive a candy bag from me ;)

Congratulations to Carisa and Lou in joining up with the rest of Maria's DT over on the SIMPLY SASSY BLOG. Maria clearly has more motivation and organisational skills than me as her DT are filling up that blog with amazing projects and creations. You girls are great and your work is really appreciated, you are inspiring, talented and a great asset to any DT and we are all glad you chose to work on ours.

The Sugar Nellie DT are having a little break and to catch up, we are working on Christmas stamps at the moment, yes its true we have our Sassy set ready for the festive season already, WOW it's not like me to be a head of myself is it?

I am also looking at new ranges, I often get emails from or recommending artists work, its odd that a couple of the artist who I liked are already working in the stamp world unknown to me! Finding something that does not remind me of a stamp range that is already out there is the hardest thing, there are only so many ways to draw cute children and it is rare that I find an artist who stand out from the rest with a style that would please stampers. Often those I find are not working in English and I hit a dead end. But I will keep trying and hopefully you will all keep your eyes open for me.

Lots of appointments for me today so I had better get a wriggle on, take care.

Karen

Thank you for the introductory post! :) You've nailed it girl, I LOVE Kraft cardstock - it's beyond obsession. I find it difficult to make a card without it! LOL.

:) xo Lou.

I too loved what I saw Lou had done - & as you say working outside the box is a huge asset to any DT. In fact Karen - you are too hard on yourself - you delegated where it was needed; you cannot do it all & you were spot on in selecting Maria Therese for the task that was required. Now who's talking about motivation - you were motivated to get it done. Now before I have my head cut off........... I'll depart.
Take care & thank you hugely for all you achieve.
