Copic Markers

What do you think of these, we have some info coming in regarding stocking these pens over on FK, I am concerned about the RRP but will wait and see if we can get a sweet deal from the folks at Copic.

Getting ready to party tomorrow night, I have some amazing samples to show you. 8pm SCS Sugar Nellie members forum.

Funkykits will be taking a holiday next week, well when I say Funkykits, there is only me there at the moment. Any orders placed up until Saturday lunch time will be sent out Monday by the helper elfs *wink*, after that it will be Friday before there is anyone about to dispatch orders. I have a few little helpers who will continue to cut rubber while I am gone , so we will be able to re stock when I return.

It is with a sad heart that we say goodbye to Tracy, she was there with me at the birth of Sugar Nellie and has had an amazing time in the House of Sugar as we all have, but her health means that she must hang up her fancy etsy apron and concentrate on getting better. Tracy is the only one I know who has ALL the Sugar Nellie stamps and some of them have never seen ink *shock gasp*, now is the time for her to put her foot up and take it easy. She will always be welcome back but only when she is fully better and can do cartwheels. She can enjoy the summer with her girls and with the youngest going to school in August, she may be practicing those cartwheels all July :)

Would be nice to see what the prices would be? Would you be selling in sets or singularly? Whatever you decide to do I think they will prove popular.

Its a shame Tracy is leaving you. Hope she enjoys the rest but will carry on crafting at some point soon.

Good luck to you all with the launch tomorrow. My finger is etching to place an order asap!

I'm not so keen on the copic markers, I don't find them easy to use comapred to pro markers. The pice for copic's are high too. Pro markers are cheaper, sold as singles and packs and easy (I think) to use

Sorry to hear that Tracy is leaving you. Tracy I hope you are all fixed soon.
As for the copic markers I love them, they blend well and are so fast to work with. I personally find them a joy. I have the copic ciaos that I refill when they run out.

We love our copics ! Have bought them a few at a time from Australia and the states. They may be expensive but they are soooo nice for colouring ( esp sugar nellies!!!) And they last ages and can be refilled. ( Viv , in New Zealand)

I love love love my Copics!! I use to use Prisma pencil crayons with the stubs and Gamosol (sp?) to blend. I liked it but since I've learned to use my Copics I have never gone back nor do I want to. I bought all the Ciao markers, which are refillable and more affordable in my opinion. The brush tip vs bullet tip was very easy to adapt to and you'd be amazed at the little area's you can color in regardless of the size of the tip. Good luck on your decision!!! :-)

ok here's my ha'penny worth...
I love the effects achievable with copics - have seen many bloggers work and it is stunning, however the price has always put me off. I personally have invested in almost all the promarkers and half the prisma's and as a non-professional I really couldn't justify the outlay on copics.
I also just wanted to wish Tracey luck in whatever she does from now on, its sad to hear of her leaving the sugar mines though.
Can't wait for the party tomorrow night, have it marked (in purple) on my outlook calendar, with a 30 minute reminder in place before 8pm

I haven't been around long enough to know Tracy but I wish her all the best and to ENJOY her time with her girls but mostly GET BETTER!

Good luck to you too as you take on this venture by yourself. *gasp* Growing pains sure are tough aren't they? I'm sure you will find some very capable helpers (sending some via air mail...LOL)

I have only just started using Copics but they are the best markers I have ever used and would definitely say that they are worth stocking.

Kind regards

I am so sorry to hear Tracy is leaving but her health is more important. Best Wishes dear.

As far as the copic's you can't go wrong with them. I love mine it is my favorite. I guess your price is what will attract the people. I know I have one place I can get mine at for $4.89 in the USA.

I want so much to be at the party so hope with the time difference we have I will be able to.
Hugs

Hiya, ooooh I have been so looking forward to seeing the release of these all week, just hope I manage to end up in the right place to look lol!

I love copics and want and need more!, and with the service you provide I think many people would buy them, even if the rrp is slightly higher, rather than shop here there and everywhere. Well I would lol :O)

Very sorry to hear Tracy is leaving, I do hope she manages to get the rest she needs.

It's sad to hear about Tracy, but I'm glad she's taking the time to work on being fully recovered and cartwheelable. :D

Hmm...copics. I looked into them very heavily back in January and decided that even with a great sale, they were well outside my price point. I opted to go with Prismacolor Pencils and have never looked back.

OH, and I can't wait to see the new stuff!!!
