Happy Ever After

Beautiful, classy and perfect do those simple word sum up a fantastic day.?
As with the rest of the world, I wish the Royal couple a happy ever after.
I can't believe its 30 years since I sat and watched his parents wedding.

So did you sit and watch, take part in a street party, or simply enjoy your Friday in the sun?

After receiving a special candy bag from Elaine and a goodie box of samples and Magazine from Tiets, I think its time for me to pass it on. Thank you girls for your generosity, its lovely to be spoilt by you.

I have a wedding candy bags to send to 4 followers who leave me a comment today.

take care and enjoy your weekend

Karen, it was a wonderful event and certainly made me proud to be British. William and Kate make such a lovely couple and I hope they have a happy, healthy and long life together. Best wishes, Kym xxx

I agree Karen, I thought she looked stunning and I loved her dress. I never did like Diana's...too fussy and over the top. I think they looked very relaxed and happy...and more importantly in love and comfortable with each other.

It is hard to believe it is 30 years since Charles and Diana wed...lets hope William and Catherine are happier...I am also predicting kids within 2 years!

Hi,Karen. I'm Italian and I was at work during the ceremony, but I teach English and I couldn't help watching all the replays and follow ups when I came back lol! William is as old as my son and wish him and lovely Kate - or Catherine is better as Kate reminds me Shakespeare's Shrew a little- all the best! Have a festive weekend, hugs, Miria

My cat wanted to watch the wedding - she woke me up at 4:00am cst. So, we watched together, both of us snuggled into my big fluffy robe. Lots of tradition there and awesome clothes; Fergie's girls were dressed rather strangely - did you see the hat that looked like reindeer antlers?

I sat and bubbled at the telly for most of the day watching the wedding - am not a Royalist by any stretch of the imagination but I watched his mother and father get married 30 years ago like you and I had to watch our future king and queen get married yesterday too. So sad his mother wasn't there to see him get wed though, she would've been so proud of both her boys - think that's why I kept bubbling actually

Gosh I had the most wonderful day on Friday... on the settee at 8am watching the preparations ready for the wedding the service...and didnt move until after the balcony kiss. My lovely husband brought me my breakfast, dinner and endless cups of tea and then he even joined in with my conversations about dresses, hats etc etc (LOL), he was soon 'all wedding out'. Then at 3pm we dressed up in our 'best clothes' and headed off to our family 'Royal Garden Party', where we had a marvelous time with our family... a day I will always remember with fondness xxxx

Hi Karen,
I thoroughly enjoyed my day... I set my alarm to be up good and early and sat glued to the TV taking in all the fashion and spotting celebrities etc. My mum & best friend called in around 12noon and brought lunch with them, so we didn't need to miss anything!!
William looked so handsome and Kate was breath takingly stunning- so elegant- they both look a perfect match and I pray in this day of very short marriages that theirs will endure the test of time.
God Bless them both,
Trish x
