Goodbye

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to DENA as she leaves the SN DT after a fantastic 18+ months of making beautiful samples with our sweet stamps. Its time for her to try something new and with only so many hours in a day, something has to give, we are honoured and spoilt to have had Dena work with us and wish her all the best with her future crafting plans.

I reminder of all she has done for us

**********

We are also saying goodbye to ELAINE as real work gets out of hand and her craft time is
nil at this time of year, I hope all settles down for you Elaine and you are welcome back any time.

But with each goodbye there is a hello, I keep a little list of crafters that offer to join the DT
and when a space opens up, I go back to my list.
I sometimes find great crafters but they are so over committed to being on so many teams I have to pass. As I say all the time, there are only so many hours in a day and when crafters take on too much work it becomes a chore not a pleasure, I have seen this so many times.
Be careful what DT's you commit too, it may be stopping you moving on more than you know.

This card is by Elaine and the stamp is Outdoor Adventure, beautiful soft colours, I love it.
I think anyone who is out and about in this UK weather is definitely taking an adventure!
What adventure are you going to take in 2011?
Karen

Thank you to both Dena & Elaine for all the encouragement they have given, not only to me but in the wider capacity of showcasing SN images.
Thank you too Karen for the parcels of Sugar you issued as surprises last week - that was so kind & thoughtful midst all you had to do & please thank all your elves too as I know there are many behind the scenes.
Take good care midst your own busyness & all the best for 2011.
With much love & thanks

Good luck to both Dena and Elaine in whatever ventures they persue next. They will both be missed.

I totally agree that you need to think about joining DT's and not over-extending yourself... been there, done that, have the t-shirt.. After much soul searching I realised I loved my crafting so much that I just needed to get back to a place where I enjoyed it... and that's what I did :D

Merry Christmas!

A huge 'THANK YOU' Karen for the most amazing and enjoyable time I've had on the DT. The honour was ALL mine.
Being so new to blogging I had never even thought of a DT position, but if every company in the world had offered me a position then Sugar Nellie would've been my only choice. You started me on the road to stamping, first with my Elizabeth Bell addiction, moving to Gorjuss Girls, Country Cousins, and more recently to the Sassy Stamps.
And I've learnt so much in the process. I can colour hair!!
I can also make cards with boy stamps, though I may need a little lie down afterwards.
My lastest addiction is the Sassy stamps, these are the nicest images I've seen this year and I look forward to seeing all the new releases and seeing the new Simply Sassy DT.
I've not set foot in my craft room since the 1st week in December but after the next two days are over then I have some free time. I have some Sassy's sitting there ready to be coloured and made into cards.

I hope you and all your family have had a lovely Christmas and I hope Santa brought lots of lovely gifts for you all ( I found a Grand Calibur and dies left under the tree for me!)

Thank you again Karen, and if ever you're looking for any helpers for a blog hop you know I would be delighted to join in.

With much love and warmest wishes

Oh this post makes me sad! Sugar Nellie is such a big part of my stamping. I will still be around Karen, you know that, using all the darling Simply Sassy! I will definitely miss being on the team though. I hope your Christmas was amazing and the guinea pigs are behaving! haha!
Hugs, Dena

Hiya Karen,

How are you? I hope you & your family had a great Christmas!

Wishing Dena & Elaine the very best of luck in all that they do!

What a shame to be losing 2 DT at the same time Karen, but as one door closes another opens!

2011 will be just as if not more successful for you & your lovely elves, thank you to you & Mark for my surprise!

You have had a stressful time lately, haven't you!

The count down to Christmas & the festivities can put so much pressure on us all!

And the "SNOW" that just added to the strain, I have banned "SNOW" from my house , you mention it you will have to leave hee hee!

I was out shopping on the 23rd December at little market within a large shopping area - "THEY WERE SELLING FAKE SNOW" I couldn't believe it ha ha!

How are the little baby Guinea pigs?

Wishing you & your business continued success & more continued sucess in 2011.

Prosperity to you in all that you do!

Take care
Big Hugs
