Simply Adorable news....

Simply Adorable images have been a work in progress since the summer of 2010. There was no doubt that the artwork was in a league of its own but changing a design into rubber has its restrictions, in rubber its either black or white, no shades of grey.
In sending the exact same image to the factory and comparing it with the same in digi form gave us a few options. The faces worked but the figures did not do the art work justice in rubber, so only  faces were made in rubber.

Having sat down with the artist and then with Mark at Funkykits we have decided that the second release of Simply Adorable at the start of March will be digi only.

The financial implications of only selling digi via Funkykits restricts our sales options and will there for reflect in the price.
There will be figures and faces, those of you who know how to work desk top publishing will realise that in buying the figure you can get both. For those of you who are still learning computer skills we will leave up the faces only. The choice is yours. This is now reflected in the price and will effect the first four figures too.

These digi images come in black line only not coloured, a few of you have been confused by the coloured images show as samples. We are working on coloured images pre printed and will keep you updated on that.

So I will leave you with this little man, SIMPLY ADORABLE dont you agree?
Karen

Oh he's so sweet!! Looks like my little brother when he was young!
I have been meaning to color up a few of the ones in set 1 but time hasn't been there yet, their so sweet and I see on the web while blog hoping and visiting challenge blogs that these have become so popular! And probably also because you can see it and get it at once. Can't wait to see the rest of the new ones.

Lots of hugs♥

These are Adorable! I am a digi holic lol. I never mastered the crisp clean rubber image. I have often said I would pay the same amount for a digi that is charged for rubber. You can resize, crop, merge. I am sure Funky Kits will be very successful with the digis. I have already purchased some. Thanks!

I think there has to be a place for both - your reasons for keeping to digi format with these images are absolutely spot on & I respect you for not compromising the quality of the image for the sake of catering to all & sundry - as a convinced rubber fan I can say this completely impartially. Part of the thrill for me is handling the inkpad & knowing what inkpad to use with which colouring medium. Anyhow thanks for explaining & I still think these are brilliant - roll on the day when a printer behaves under my command!

Oh he's so cute - are there more boys coming?
I like both digi and rubber stamps - digi because they are more versatile as far as size goes (though it would be great if the images were available as .png without the white background and only the figure itself solid - would make it easier to create scenes without having to use special photo programms...just an idea...)
and because I don't have to wait the usual 2 weeks (to Germany) to be able to play with the new images...

looking forward to more Adorable images

He's absolutely precious. For some reason, my first thought was the name "Chance." Maybe because he reminds me of my friend's adorable little son of the same name.
