Tuesdays Twitterings

Tiets has been playing with the new Simply Sassy Stamps and I must admit that Fashionista is one of my fav  from this set. Don't you  thinks shes cute? Tiets is very well know in Netherlands with her own online club and teaching at her local store, many of the DT have been know to appear locally as demonstrators or teaching classes. There are a few directions your hobby can take you, most are happy to
stay in there craft space and craft without pressure, enter a few challenges and enjoy the hobby. I look forward to my retirement when I dream of having nothing else to do but craft, right...in my dreams!
I already have enough of everything to do be forever but there is always something out there that now and then I have to have. This year its been rubber stamps from three other companies. There has been a couple of MS punches made their way home from the store and one or two packets of nesties, not many, I ain't greedy!
With things quiet at the HOS at this time of the year, I am not putting in the hours that I did at busy times. While I have craft stuff all over this house, I have great intentions of moving it all into one room and closing the door. But these things don't happen by themselves and with no elf's and fairies about the farm it looks like the only way I will get it done it to switch off this lap top! LOL

With the final count down started, I just wonder whats on your wish list? What have you wished for this season, what is it that would out do the M &S toiletries, those slipper from Auntie and that box of chocolates that are not your favourites?
Let me know what you would like and what pressie you most regret opening. Give us a laugh and I might just send you a sweet treat, its a while since we gave away candy ;)

Wow!! two amazing cards, I'm loving these images and the girls are showcasing them beautifully. Well what's not on my wish list. mmm......!! I know I have to be realistic and that most of my wish list item will be bought by me. lol. My ultimate gift would be a cricut expression for all the letters and embellishments. But that ain't gonna happen! so I would settle for some new spellbinders nestie's and swirly dies for my big shot. The worst present ever was from my Hubby (bless him) he bought us a joint pressie of a games console with a football and mario game. Believe me when I say that he's never bought a joint present ever again. Hehehe.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and that the weather stays kind for all of us.

Regret is easy - a box of chocolates (my silly digestive system is very picky) & what's on my wish list - it's already there, a wooden box of Derwent Artist's pencils from my husband but other than that I am so thankful for what I have in terms of life & friends etc..... that I would have been happy with just time watching my husband opening his presents & getting stuck into his books.
Thanks for making me think Karen & all the best for you & your family.

My DAd and wife always buy my hubby a bottle of wine and a jumper same every year....the jumper never fits lol and he has never drank wine in his life. I would love any crafty gift under the tree this year to be honest. Money has been a nightmare this year lack of I mean but hey we have each other and the family and i can oggle others fabby creations too.

What you asking the big guy in the red suit for?

Stay warm Hugs Ali x

What treat would I like? In my dreams I'd love a scrapbooking room, and not the corner of the kitchen I have at the moment. I dream about a scrap box, a huge counter where I can lay my stuff out, without having to worry about the cat laying on it and ending up covered in glitter!

But, like you, I'm content with life at the moment. I'm happy. My family is healthy and happy and that's all I really want.

Of course a visit to the Sugar Nellie Emporium would also be high on my list. It's been a few years since I set foot in good old Scotland. It would be great to hear the Scottish accent again.
Cheerio!

I have to say for Christmas,I just want family time with my 6 and 4 year daughters, and my wonderful husband. My grandmother sends me cookies that are wrapped in foil, and they are not so good once they arrive. She has the best intentions, and I don't have the heart to ask her to stop.
Hugs
Tanya

P.S. FAB cards.

It hink I'm pretty easy to buy for this Christmas. There are afew things I want, but most are expensisve and most likely not happening, so what I want most is for my mom to make it to my house for Christmas. They've been planing on coming, but they've been hit with some bad weather recently and don't know if it will happen. Short of that I'd like one of those personalized stamps for the back of my cards. As far as bad presents go when I was 9 I kept on opening up presents of earrings...in my stocking, under the tree, earrings and I didn't have my ears pierced and mom said not til I was 13...WHAT was santa thinking?? So I'm getting to the end and it's a shirt box and I'm certain it's not earrings. This box though, it didn't want to open! I struggled for a while then I get to the last side..seemed to be stuck the most, but I get my finger under there and slide it along and Wowzer, worst paper cut of my LIFE...this present better be good!! I open it up and what's inside, you guessed it, more earrings in smaller boxes. Now, I've had it, I've got more earrings than I can count and my finger is cut. I go to my mom crying about what I'm gonna do with all these earrings...she plays with me a bit but says maybe we should get your ears pierced. So mabe that was my most painful Christmas ever, but the one I can remember most agonizing over, lol
Hope you have a wonderful christmas!

The tree is up and decked with lights
But times are hard - recession bites.
Dear Santa I don't ask for lots
A MS Punch - the one with dots.
I rather think you owe me one
For last years' slippers with a silly pom-pom.
The kind of thing that Granny wears.
They now reside under my stairs!
I've been real good - Just hear my plea.
Please leave it under my Christmas tree.

well I don't think there are any I truly regret opening, as I love to get presents, big, small, inexpensive, handmade, cost arm and a leg, etc. I just love to open them and be surprised. hmm one I loved the most would be 2002 just before Christmas, they placed my first daughter in my arms (growing up all I ever wanted was to be a mom & as I had problems w/pregnancy, my daughters are from the heart) and the sight of her beautiful brown eyes....well I can't think of another thing I need or want. I am a very blessed mom.

The next year she wrapped it up for me & even told me that she had bought it from Debenhams?

Today is my first day online since the first part of November. I am so disappointed to see how much I have missed out on:( I have wanted to try out for a DT guest spot for you for a long time and I totally missed out on it.
Since the beginning of November I was in the hospital for 4 days for acute sinus infection that was very close to my brain. I have been sick since July and it took that long to find out what was wrong. Then the night before Thanksgiving our youngest son went into ER and we found out his appendix had ruptured 6-8 WEEKS earlier!! It was by the grace of God that he is alive (his intestine & colon encased the rupture ans saved his life). As he came out of the hospital my husband went in for a heart cath and came out with a stent that saved his life. Everybody is slowly recovering so I decided to take the time today and check out your blog...my very favorite blog to check out.
YOU MADE MY DAY!!! Yes, I lost out on all of the fun that I wish I could have been a part of, but I could not believe my eyes when I saw your new Krista stamps. Krista had a contest a while back for an idea she waned to create and I won. My characters have now been made into stamps that you have in your store! They are the pair Fit & Flirty and Number 1 Fan. Although when Krista drew them for me the girl was holding a football instead of a baby bottle...the rest of them is the same and I just can't wait until I can afford to order them.
Thank you so much for perking me up because I don't think I have ever needed it more in my life than I do right now. I may actually get enough Christmas spirit to put a few ornaments on my tree after seeing those stamps on your blog...thank you so much for picking them to make into stamps:)

Hiya and hope you are warm and well, my worst christmas present that I wished I hadn't opened now the first that springs to mind is some hideous jumper my great aunt made for me , I'm sure mum knew I wouldn't like it , I was about 14 and she had said I should wear whatever I got for christmas gifts, talk about looking like something the cat dragged in it was red and yellow and had a cord around the neck that had pompoms on.Wonder if this is why I don't like red and yellow that much especially together. I would normally have met up with friends but that day I didn't venture anywhere.

The perevious year I thought I got a duff present from one of my school friends and I had to look excited and happy as we opened them at school. I thought it must have been something she had nicked off her granny as she forgot to get me something as all the other girls in our groug got nice smellies and girly things, I got a glass paper weight ball. I still have it and actually as I got older actually like it and am sure it lasted longer than my other friends smellies but at the time I was sincerly dissapointed and thought about seeing if it would bounce either on the floor or my friends head. I suppose mum saying she liked it had something to do with me not dropping it but I really wasn't impressed at the time.

On my christmas wish list well craft stuff of course and the more the better, but have to be restrained otherwise hubby won't let me buy things the rest of the year. I have already got sassy girls set 2 waiting for me under the tree and sassy set 3 is somewhere in transit with the royal mail, wish they'd get their finger out so I know they will e safe and waiting for me. The next things on my list should anyone ask what they could get me would be some spellbinders nestabilities shape cutters so I can cut out some fancy shapes for my images. I have a fiskars cutting board so can do circles, ovals and squares and rectangles but I do love those with the fancy edges and cut outs so they are my next wish along with more sugar nellie images and lotv as these are my favs at the mo, and I dio like the martha stewart edging punches too, shall I go on?

Best stop, have a fab weekend and hope Santa sends you elves and fairies to create a craft room, but at least if you do it yourself you'll know 3 things, first it will get done,2ndly it will be done properly and 3rd you should know where everything is.Have a fab weekend and hope you don't get too much snow.
