...Another of my favourite sing-a-long songs, especially the one released by Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews, she's just so quirky and not at all who you would expect to duet with Tom.
But baby, it really is cold outside! The weather in Lancashire is cold, wet, windy and the nights are drawing in fast.
But it's always a sunshiny day over at the Sugar Bowl. Today there is a new challenge and as always, the Sweeties have made a gorgeous array of cards to provide you with a little inspiration.
There is a sketch to follow and an optional theme, which for this challenge is 'Clean and Simple'.
I love all styles of card making but I do have a soft spot for the CAS style, most probably because I'm useless when it comes to using embellishments on my own cards..I never quite know where to stick them :)
Maria's pretty Christmas card uses the Sassy image Tammy. This stamp is perfect for the weather up in Scotland...I believe there has been snow in the Highlands already?
Jelly Pip is the image on Fiona's card. Fi has gone all out CAS keeping her card mainly white which in turn really makes the image pop. Fabulous card Fiona.
And last but not least, Cathy has used Old Saint Nick for her CAS card. I think this monochromatic Christmas card is stunning.
You can see all the other Sweeties cards over at the Sugar Bowl, along with the sketch, and the challenge is open for a fortnight so that's plenty of time for everyone to get inky and join in the fun.
Tomorrow will be Astrid's turn to post on here, so don't forget to call back and see her gorgeous creation.
Thanks for looking

Wow these cards are stunning! Sheila:)X
fab samples and yes it is bitter and what better to do than some colouring. xx
Great sketch even if I had to "step away from the card" LOL.
Cold up here too Elaine...where was our summer? I'm still waiting!
Happy crafting,
Erika.
Fab cards Elaine, will pop over and see the challenge.....it is bitter here isn't it, but no frost as yet, so can't complain...really....lol..xxx
Elaine...you crack me up...and you know that I, on the other hand, struggle with CAS! gagaga! Your cards are always gorgeous...and the cards you chose to share today are stunning! Am off to the Sugar Bowl to see what magic my fellow Sweeties have created for my viewing pleasure! Hugs. Pat Frank
They are all so gorgeous...!
big hugs Vicky xx
As always your eye for picking a range of representative yet different cards is faultless - even when the delineation is as narrow as CAS & your range of cards from which to pick is limited to the DT your examples are so diverse.
