...makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Good Morning Sugar Babes!
The current challenge over on the Sugar Bowl has a sketch to follow, as always, and the optional theme of Autumn. Which was a very relevant theme this time last week but I think Mother Nature has got her seasons mixed up, it's been verging on the tropical this week in my part of the UK! Clear skies, glorious sunshine and temperatures that we don't see enough of. I'm sure it won't be long before Autumn appears once more but it is so nice to feel the sunshine warm your face.
It's my day to delve into the Sugar Bowl and pick out a few cards that catch my eye.
The first card entered into the challenge uses one of the new Jingle Bells and Tinkle Bells stamps called Wish Upon A Star and was made a lovely lady from Idaho called Patty. I am very lucky to count Patty as a dear friend and she really is as sweet as Cherry Pie! This card is a perfect example that these images are not just for Christmas as she makes a beautiful Fall Fairy too.
Another stamp from the latest release but this time a Pip...Apple Pip has been fabulously coloured and brought to life by Louise. I think this is such a gorgeous card. The colours are so pretty and Louise has the perfect balance of embellishments to compliment the image.
Both of these cards show images from the latest releases so next up is...
..an older image. I know we all love to get our inky mitts on new stamps, but I still love the older images, the ones that got me addicted!
I can't believe that the Diane Duda stamp called Believe was first showcased more than two years ago! All these rubber babies stand the test of time and are as gorgeous today as they were 2 years ago, as seen above in Tracey's beautiful and detailed card.
Sugar Addicts come from all over the globe, in varying sizes, shapes, Nationalities and ages and this next card is from a Mini Addict.
I gave a little round of applause for this Sugar Bowl entry from Amanda Hatloy - the 6 year old daughter of Maria (DT coordinator of the Simply Sassy blog). It's always so nice to see entries off younger crafters..better watch out Maria, she'll be 'borrowing' all your crafty stash soon! Amanda used Manga Fairy for her ever so pretty card.
Tiets will be here tomorrow to show one of her delicious cards or projects so please drop in again. This door is always open to all our lovely addicts.
Thanks for looking
Love Elaine xx
