goal!

Very happy tuesday to all of you!

It's Kathrin here and today I am sharing another card I made with one of the cute new Spike images:

Well, doing boys'  cards ist kind of hard since most of the times you can't use all the girlish stuff like flowers, pearls, rhinestones, lace.... So most of my boys'  cards turn out quite simple - and so did this one. But I really like it the way it looks - it keeps the main focus on the image and it's perfect for the little boy that is going to get this.

I used some cheesecloth here to imitate the net of the goal and I also tried to include a corner flag that I made using a punch by Stampin' Up. I have to admit that I have no idea if these are really red or not, I just like the red with the green and brown.

I colored Spike with Copics and used some light blue chalk for the background. Love how it turned out a little spotty/dotted.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Kathrin...I totally agree. Boy cards are challenging for me to...for that very reason...no flowers and bling!! I do love these hedgehogs, tho...and you've created the perfect boy card! Brilliant coloring...and I love the "extras"...that grass is perfect!! Hugs. Pat Frank
