Simply Sassy - Tiffany

- Hello Sugar Fans -

Hi it's Janine here and today is my last card and post for the Sugar Nellie Design Team.

After losing my step-dad a few weeks ago I felt I needed a fresh start with a couple of things. So after thinking long and hard I made the decision to step down. I feel sad to leave as everyone at Sugar Nellie towers are wonderful and I've had an amazing time, made lots of friends and played with fantastic stamps.

I wish Karen and the Sugar Nellie girls all the very best for the future. I look forward to seeing you all in blogland as I will still be about making and creating.

So onto my last Sugar Nellie Design Team card  - for my card this week I've chosen to share with you my very first one, which is perfect timing  as it's Simply Sassy week. The digi stamp is called 'Tiffany' and she's so pretty.

This stamp and lots of other Simply Sassy digi stamps are available to buy from Funkykits.

I matted a my card blank with coloured card and pretty patterned paper, then added a cream border strip right across the centre. I printed the digi stamp directly on colouring card and coloured her in Copic pens, then hand stamped flowers and leaves around her. The completed topper was then matted onto more coloured card and added to the card base. .

To finish off I added a sentiment, handmade flowers, a couple of hat pins plus a few pearls.

Gorjuss - On Top Of The World

- Good Morning Sugar Fans -

Hi it's Janine here, it's Wednesday and Gorjuss Week!

I'm here to share my themed Design Team card with you, and I've used the fabulous Gorjuss
stamp  'On Top Of The World' (minus the little pigeons); she also available as a mini
stamp here

Both stamps sets and lots of other Gorjussness can be found at Funkykits.

Here's What I Did
I matted the card base with some leafy paper patterned paper which I edged with distressing ink. Next I die cut a piece of black card and more patterned paper using a curved die; both pieces were then attached to the card base using foam tape. I stamped a sentiment in the top left corner in black ink.

The image was stamped directly onto watercolour card and coloured with distressing inks, and then cut out. The completed image was attached to the card front using more foam tape so she would look like she was sitting on the curve. To finish off I added glitter to the sentiment and a few gems.

For full details of everything I did and I used in my card, please check out my blog here.

Feed The Birds

Good morning Sugar Fans!

It's Janine, and I'm here to share with you my Wednesday post.

After just returning from my relaxing holiday in the sun I thought I would being you little freshness with an autumnal card. I've used the very cute 'All Dressed Up' stamp called 'Feed the Birds' - it's available as a digital stamp from Funkykits.  I just love the little squirrel!

There are more 'All Dressed Up' digital stamps available to download in store.

I matted a small scallop card blank with some pretty patterned paper. Next I printed my digi image directly onto my colouring cardstock and I coloured it with Copic Markers. Using several square dies I die cut 2 frames from blue and pink card and layered them up on the card base. The coloured topper was insert inside the frame.

Using the left over squares from the frames I adhered some doubled sided sticky paper to them and die cut some skeleton leaves. I peeled off the backing paper and added some crystal glitter - these were added to my frames as embellishments.

To finish off I added a few gems and a touch of glitter.

You can the find the 'Feed The Birds' stamp here --

Hello Sugar Fans!

I used a small MDF rectangle which I covered with patterned paper, and inked around the edges. I stamped my cute rabbit onto my colouring cardstock, coloured her with Copic pens and fussy cut her out.

To the plaque I added stamped and cut out flowers, punched out leaves, a die cut sentiment and a few hearts along with a strip of lace and a piece of ribbon. The finished rabbit was added using some foam tape to give it a little extra dimension.  To finish off I added a little glitter, and a few pearls and a sprinkling of sequins.

Enjoy Your Trip & Little Princess

Good morning sugar fans!

It's Janine here with my Wednesday post.

This week I turn my attention back to my gorgeous Scrapberry stamps, I just think they're sooooo pretty and cute!

The stamp sets I used are called 'Enjoy Your Trip' and 'Little Princess' and are available from Funkykits.

http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2192

I matted and layered my card base with coloured card and patterned paper.  Both of the girls were stamped out and coloured with Copics; the camera girl was then fussy cut out. I die cut white and black card to create a polaroid frame and stamped and embossed the sentiment on the front, A piece of vellum and the finished Princess picture was attached behind it.

To finish off I scattered a few die cut hearts around, glittered up the word  'beautiful' and added clear gloss onto the sunglasses and camera lens.

Cherry ---

Good morning everyone!

Janine here to share another card with you today on this cold and frosty morning.

I decided to use one of the new clear stamp sets from Scrapberry - this set is called 'Cherry' and it's available from Funkykits here.  She's so gorgeous - I have to admit I think all the rabbits in the collection are very cute, even the boys. :)  They're also a really good size to work with and stamp beautifully even on watercolour card. I've coloured my image with my Derwent Inktense Pencils - which I love btw.

To make my card I used a 5" x 5" base card and matted and layered it with patterned cardstock. I stamped my image onto watercolour cardstock and using my Inktense pencils I coloured her in. My finished picture was then die cut and mounted onto another die cut square, which I then added to my card base. To finish off I added a few die cut flowers, pearls and a gem.

For more details of everything I used please check out my blog here.

Basik 'For You'

Good morning everyone!

Janine here to share another card with you today. I thought I would use one of the fab new stamp sets from Scrapberry called 'For You' - the set is available from Funkykits here. There are more cute stamps in the range which are definitely worth checking out (these are also available from Funkykits).

To make my card, I created my own portrait card base from an A4 sheet of white card cut in half. I die cut a rectangular frame using 2 dies which I then mounted on top of some patterned paper. The cat was stamped and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils and cut out. My finished cat, die cut 'thought' bubble and hillside were added to the frame; this was then added to my card base using foam tape to add a little dimension. To finish, I added a few holographic sequins.

Furry Friend's - Golf Buddy

Golf Buddy

- Good Morning Sugar Fans -

It's Janine here...and yay I have the pleasure of introducing one of the new uber cute Furry Friend's digi stamps.

This fabby stamp is called 'Golf Buddy' and it's available from Funkykits in digital format - it's just brilliant for a golfer or a golfing fan.

I coloured the image (dog, rabbit, flag, ball and golf bag) with Copic markers (the colour list is on my blog). I created an teardrop acetate fronted card. The sky, hills and clouds were added to the back of the card while the Furry Friend's are glued onto the front of the acetate to create extra dimension. When open the acetate is tucked into the border strip down the right hand side of the card to create a teardrop effect, and it's untucked the card will lie flat for postage.

For full details of everything I used check out my blog here

Thank you for dropping by and don't forget to call by tomorrow for more sweet inspiration.

Psst...don't forget about our challenge over at The Sugar Bowl - we've got 2 fab prizes on offer!

Our Summer ---

Good morning sugary friends, Janine here today.

It's Thursday and my turn to share a card with you. This week I'm sharing another of the gorgeous Scrapberry stamps, they're all available to buy from Funkykits

The cutie twosome stamp I've used today is called 'Our Summer'.

This week I decided to use my distressing inks and pens to colour the stamp, and they worked beautifully. I wanted a CAS look to my card so I kept my embellishments to a minimum. To create my card I used a corner punch, 2 MFT dies and my Silhouette machine and of course a splash of glitter.

For more info of the things I've used why not visit my blog here.

Thanks so much for dropping by. Christine's will be here next Thursday so I'll see you in 2 weeks.
